Opa Overmeer's Visit to Holland

 Opa Overmeer's Family made the big trek to Holland, or what seemed to be a long trek. In the olden days that would have meant 2 weeks at sea. The lambs are so cute, sheep can be seen everywhere in the countryside.

 The Dutch have more than a green thumb, plants and hanging pots are everywhere. It makes the landscape so pretty!

 Seed production is very important in Holland, and a billion dollar industry. I've never even given a thought as to where seeds come from. Have you?

 The wonderful old buildings, they are everywhere. You simply must visit Holland!

 Take a canal cruise in Amsterdam..the best way to see the City!

 And , of course, let's not forget the Windmills!!

 We went to the markets on Orange Day ... this is one of our finds...an old Watering can!

A side trip to Brussels in Belgium.. a must see.
