Lilac blooms at Opa Overmeer's Farm

Opa Overmeer's Farm had a hedge of Lilac bushes, which kept spreading, as Lilac bushes tend to do , given the right growing conditions. How beautiful they are, and their smell is Glorious!

Such a soft Lavender colour .... almost inspires you to repaint a room Lavender.

Opa Overmeer's son ...with an armful of Lilacs!!

We are often asked how to treat Lilacs so that they last longer in a Vase. After cutting the stems , scrape back some of the bark, and smash the ends of the stems ( I use a marble rolling pin for this). Of course , take care not to smash your fingers or cut yourself.

Arrange your Lilacs in a Vase.  Look at  how pretty they are!

What's in Opa Overmeer's suitcase today?
Some vintage Napkins from Holland.

Linen and Lace runners - in all sizes from 16" to 90" long.  They remind me of the Belgian Lace we saw in Brussels, except the Belgian lace was in the hundreds of euros. Ours are priced at $25.00 and up.

Antique Euro shams, with the original French label. A set of 2 are available.

 A lovely hand-made crochet spread.

Metal Butterflies for your garden.

All of these lovelies are available for sale at Camellia's on 30 Hacquoil Rd.
