Antique Market at Alameda, California.

This past October, we were lucky enough to go the Antique Mart at Alameda, Ca. which is held on the first Sunday of the month. Even before we got into the show, we saw many treasures being carted out...wonder what they're going to do with this old bathtub?  This show is huge..800+ vendors. Seems like a person would need at least 2 days to see everything, and we only had a few hours.

I wonder how many kids sat on this Rocking horse..if only he could talk!!

This could be repurposed as a storage cubby in an entranceway..don't you just love old farm equipment?

I was so excited to see the booth of Atelier de Campagne  ... I follow them on Facebook, and know that they scour France, Belgium and other parts of Europe for their treasures. I was not disappointed!
And everything was so artfully displayed....

This booth filled with Burlap items was way at the back of the Market......I was able to pick up some hand-stamped PARIS clothespins, along with some burlap ribbons. And the old doorknobs in the photo at the top of this blog, they were for sale at this booth..!  I maybe got to see 1/10th of the booths that were at this Market, so if you plan on visiting this Market, do your research , and plan on spending the entire day there!!
