Christmas at Opa Overmeer's, the Camellia, Thunder Bay

Preparations for Christmas are intense - the presents, the preparing of food, the Decorating  ...speaking of decorating, Deer have been a very hot theme this season.  Here's a Mama and her three little ones which were in our backyard this Summer.

Winter is all about gathering and piling - as evidenced by our resident Chipmunk, who made these piles at the base of our pine trees.

Still some apples left way at the top of our apple tree.

Last minute Decorating on the Farm - tromping into the knee-high snow to pick Christmas greens to put into this basket.

Small tin bucket Greenery centrepieces for the Christmas dinner table .. no fuss and truly uncomplicated.

Lots of snow at our shop, The Camellia. Pretty, like a postcard.

In the field, sunflowers covered in snow.

Announcing the arrival of Christmas Twins.

Wishing you a Holiday filled with Joy and Peace. The JOY of rolling in the snow like our golden in the photo above, he has snow baths every day.  If you would like to visit us at The Camellia, we will be  open by appointment at this time ( Dec. 27th. 2013 to Jan. 4th. 2013), so call us at 475-3551.
