A Visit to downtown Duluth, Minnesota

A Drive from Thunder Bay to Duluth is a great break...the 2 cities are about 3.5 hours apart driving time. The route winds along Lake Superior so plan on stopping and hiking to see the waterfalls and listening to the water along Lake Superior.

This photo was taken at High Falls, on the Grand Portage side of the Falls.

With an abundance of rain, the streams are rushing along.

A stroll along the Lake is a must, once you reach the Downtown area. It was the perfect day to do this, hot and sunny, with a cool Lake breeze.

The aerial Lift bridge was just going up to allow water craft to go through.

You can take a ride on The Vista Fleet.

One of my favourites is this playful sprite fountain.
