Fall time in Slate River Valley
Fall is here, and it has been a lovely, warm Fall here in Slate River Valley. The sunflowers are turning to seed, and the birds can be seen picking away at them.
Fall and Pumpkins go together.. thoughts of Pumpkin Pie are swirling around in my head.
Crabapples are smaller than normal, but they are such a lovey shade of reddish burgundy.
Here at The Camellia, we carry a selection of fall leaves and bushes, perfect for Fall decorating.
Maple trees in various shades of reds and oranges ... this is the walking trail at the Pigeon River Tourist Information centre.
Geese are flying overhead, chipmunks are busy cutting off pine branches to get at their beloved pine cones.
This is our Canadian Tourist Centre, where you can stop in to get travel information for Canada, and fish and bear licenses. It will be open until Canadian Thanksgiving.
Incredible views of Lake Superior. Stop by and visit The Camellia, approx. 1/2 an hour from the U.S/Canada border, heading into Thunder bay.
Open Wednesday 11-5, Thurs. 12-5, Fri. 11-5, Sat. 11-5, and Sunday 12-5.
