Our winter days are getting longer, Spring will be here soon, The Camellia, Thunder Bay

We have been getting a lot of snowfalls here in Northern Ontario! It seems like all we do is shovel snow. In other parts of the world, Camellia blossoms may be bursting into bloom. Almond trees are flowering in the south of France, and thank goodness for Instagram feeds which let us keep up with happenings in warmer places! Our days are getting longer...which is great for getting out for a walk as soon as you get Home! 

These Tulips are huge, more like the ones you may find in the Flower Markets in Holland. Tulips are a treat especially at this time of the year. when was the last time you bought Flowers for YOU!? 

Just place some green moss in a bowl, on top of some old books....a simple, yet, elegant Spring design. 

We start to daydream of our Gardens... is it possible that one day there will be green grass under all that snow? 

 Now is the best time to plan....what will you plant this Spring? Isn't spring planting the very best?
