We all like to start a New Year with a positive note and a large dose of Optimism for change and better days ahead in 2022. Yet here we are on Jan. 1st. 2022, with new Lockdown restrictions due to Covid, and a new level of uncertainty.
It's time to get Creative, and turn down the noise and the News.
We can allow ourselves to dream about all those Creative projects we want to do, but hey, Life gets in the way, and we can never seem to find the time to do them. There is quite often something in the way, a sick relative, meals to be made, this person needs a ride to there, and the list goes on.
So take a moment to ponder this question: what Creative project have you put on hold? Do you have all the supplies you need? What is holding you back?
This is a vintage dresser, which has been repurposed into a TV stand, it has been painted with Cottage Paint, in the colour Driftwood. Take a look around and see what pieces of furniture you can revamp, during this Winter. You can use Cottage Paint indoors, as it is a low voc paint, and clean up is easy as it is water-based.
A quick and easy project is a stencilled sign, like this one above. When you use Cottage Paint, clean up of your stencil is quite easy.
