Life in the Country

Sometimes a well-meaning person will say - But how can you live all the way out here...don't you get bored, what do you do all day? I couldn't stand it...!

First of all, we are a mere 1/4 mile outside the City. And I'll let you in on a secret, most country folk hate going into town. They don't like fighting with traffic, and dealing with the lovely parts of City Life - parking issues, people loitering around the downtowns, begging for spare change. ( How can people be begging for money when they are wearing Roots sweatshirts..?.)

There is a certain calm about driving in wide open spaces.

It's really difficult when you sit outside on your patio and just listen the the yellow finches and Robins  singing away. (Not!)

All that Peace & Quiet.  Lovely.

Priceless.

Lots of quiet country roads to go walking or biking.

If it wasn't for grocery shopping, and other appointments, none of us country folk would venture into the city.
