Summer love at The Camellia, Slate River, Ontario.

Hello! We have been enjoying a great Summer here in Slate River. Our gardens are growing with great abandon, with many Summer blooms. 

If you are not a flower person, succulents may be a better choice for you. They can stand hot, dry conditions. 

 These zinnias are beautiful, they look like they were painted with a brush. 

Blue delphiniums are so nice! How is your Summer been going?  It's August now, and I had great plans of getting my bike out. Not happening. Also cleaned off my screen porch intending to spend some time outside reading, that hasn't happened.  What projects did you intend to get done this Summer. So many projects , so little Summer!
